Name: Juno
Breed: Newfoundland/Lab Mix
Approximate Age: 1 year old
Approximate Weight: 68 lbs
Personality: affectionate, oversized lap dog
Observations with Dogs: good
Observations with Cats: ignores
Observations with Kids: good
Currently Living at: SC boarding, but arrives in DC on 5/23 and needs an adopter or foster
Juno has no idea that she’s a big girl. In fact, this sweetie may try to climb onto an available lap and smother her person with kisses! Juno walks nicely on leash. This girl has it all!
Juno plays nicely with her energetic canine friends, but also settles down around calmer dogs. She ignored cats when tested with them. She would be an easy fit into virtually any household, but given her size, may be best suited with children over the age of 6. Juno has her bags packed and is ready to head to DC to meet her forever family.
Like most shelter dogs, Juno may need a refresher on housetraining and crate training. We ask all of DC PAWS’ fosters to work on both house and crate training with their foster dog.
The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter and heartworm treatment if necessary. If you are interested in adopting, please contact Jess at jiglover@hotmail.com.
