This adorable little guy is Apollo, an approximately one year old, 23 lb. Jack Russell Terrier mix. If you’re in search of a great pup in a small package, Apollo could be the one for you! This boy has never met a stranger, and is friendly to dogs, people and children. Apollo is great on leash too.

Apollo has a unique trick in his repertoire-he smiles on command! How cool is that?! Apollo would be a superstar in obedience training, or likely in any dog sport you choose. Apollo’s greatest wish, however, is for a family to love and cherish him. He would be happy accompanying you on a long walk or run, then enjoy curling up on your lap or soft doggie bed.

Like most shelter dogs, Apollo may need a refresher on housetraining and crate training. We ask all of DC PAWS’ fosters to work on both house and crate training with their foster dog.
